iris chart L&R | Hydrogen Therapy

Research studies have shown the potential benefits of hydrogen-rich treatments in protecting various sensory organs from damage caused by oxidative stress and other harmful factors. For instance, studies have demonstrated the protective effects of hydrogen-saturated saline on hearing loss induced by narrow band noise in guinea pigs and its antioxidant properties. Additionally, hydrogen-rich saline has been found to protect against retinal damage induced by blue light and hyperoxia, as well as to attenuate retinopathy and promote the survival of retinal ganglion cells in different animal models. Furthermore, hydrogen therapy has shown promise in preventing noise-induced hearing loss by reducing reactive oxygen species and in protecting auditory and vestibular hair cells from free radicals. For an in-depth exploration read more about these findings below highlighting the potential therapeutic applications of hydrogen in mitigating oxidative stress-related damage to sensory organs such as the ears and eyes.
